"'Incidents in which we can't procure parts because our suppliers are hit by disasters are increasing,' said Ken Naono, principal researcher at Hitachi's research and development group. 'Our supply chains are also growing geographically, and we wanted detailed [weather] information for places we Japanese aren't so familiar with.' Naono's team searched for data providers that could meet its needs and came across ClimateAi. The team is currently validating the quality and accuracy of the startup's data and have so far found it to be promising compared with its counterparts, Naono said."
